I describe your presentation as being inspiring......

Dear Mr. Harris,

I really enjoyed your presentation today!  I would describe your presentation as being inspiring. Every single time you come to our school for an assembly, I enjoyed it.

I think that your presentation made a lot of people change their minds about being in a gang. It's really sad that most members in a gang die at the age of twenty-five or younger.

Before Your Presentation I Had No Idea That Gangs....

Dear Mr. Harris,

To me, your presentation was truly enlightening! I love the fact that you are working to inform young people about the ever-changing and dangerous society.

I honestly would not have known about the dangers that I could possible face without you! It was an amazing presentation, I learned a lot about just how dangerous the streets could possible be.

Before the presentation I had no idea that gangs posed such a treat to my everyday life!

Thank YOU for taking time our of your obviously busy day to inform us. It is duly noted.....

Your Presentation Made a Lot of People re-think their ideas....

Dear Mr. Harris,

I appreciate that you came out to talk to us. I think your presentation made a lot of people re-think their ideas. I am glad you made time to come talk to us.

Your presentation was really interesting!  I enjoyed hearing how the man with you decided to change and make good choices. I also enjoyed how the woman started to make good choices too.

Your presentation was really nice! Even though some parts were disturbing. Other than that I enjoyed your presentation.

After hearing your presentation, I am never going to join a gang. I never even planned on joining one in the first place especially after watching those videos and listening to your presentation.

Sincerely,

Your Presentation Really Changed My Mind....

Dear Mr. Harris,

I'm not going to make this a written confession......But I've done some things that aren't exactly legally smiled upon....and your presentation really changed my mind and make me want to start acting better!

Especially so I don't get in trouble with the Cops.  Thank you Mr. Harris, Chad and Monika!

The Best Thing For Students Is For You To Keep Going into Schools....

Dear Mr. Harris,

Thank you for telling us about the importance of Gangs' and Gang Violence. Although I wasn't considering joining a gang, it still gave me helpful insight on gangs.

Considering how much you can help, I might want to do what you do one day; I don't know what  its called, motivational speaking or saving lives...

Some people took something from this, including me. I now understand that I only get one life, and I want to make the most of it!

The Best Thing for students is for you to keep going into Schools.

When the guy with the tattoos spoke.....

Your presentation was very informative, because there's a lot of things I didn't know about gangs. I basically normally hear the "cool" things. You let me know that there's really nothing cool about it.

When the guy with the tattoos spoke, I realized that being in a gang effects your whole life, even if you get away. the only thing that wasn't very good about your presentation what that the videos were too short!

You should find more that other than funerals and a guy with a hanging stomach, that really informs us. Also, I want to think you for telling me about Chief Keef. I never really liked his music anyways. He's untalented.

Thank you for going around to speak to kids, because it really does make a difference!

You Have Changed My Ways.....

I really appreciate you for coming out and bringing Chad with you, and talking to us about "Gangs".

I'm glad that you have came out and talked to us about gangs because you have changed my ways when  I have walked of of the presentation, because I have been getting in a lot of trouble lately and I have been trying to change my ways lately.

Every since you came today talking about not getting in trouble and getting your education, I have changed a lot! I've stop playing around talking back and even getting in trouble.

I also appreciate you bringing Chad and how scared and afraid he was. Like I feel terribly sorry for him and his children and I hope that his life will get better than it is now. I truly appreciate  you for coming out!

I Took This Very Serious.....

THANK YOU for coming to our school to talked to us and tell us some stuff about gangs. I took this very serious because everything you said was TRUE! Gangs aren't anything to play with and you made it clear.

I also liked what you said about love in a thug because that's telling me who I should watch out for and who I should fall in love with, because they may say they love me but they might just be saying that to use me. So, that was very heart touching to me.

Chad also help me realize that being in a gang can hurt not just you but your whole family and friends. So, thank you Chad for telling and sharing your story with me.

Monika really helped me figure out that you don't have to be in a gang to get hurt. Which is something I didn't know and enjoyed hearing.

If I continue to listen to "Drill Music" it will lead me to committing a crime....

I appreciate you and your team taking the time to come to our school and showing us the right path to success. It really caught my attention when you were talking about "Chief Keef" and the drill music.

In my school, I'm known for listening to drill music all the time, but have yet to commit a crime. I don't plan on committing any crimes but  I know if I continue listening to "Drill Music" it will lead me to it.

For all three times you've came here I've actually paid close attention to your presentations. You have guided me from 6th grade to the 8th grade without doing nothing out of line and I want to thank you with this letter.....
